In the video below, we speak to Crysis 2 Executive Producer Nathan Camarillo, who talks about the the driving force behind the sequel, and the game’s plot and the developers decision to move Crysis from the jungle to the urban jungle of New York City.
"You want to pick places that have more intrinsic appeal than just some remote island or desert," Camarillo told us, "Where can you move this game to that’s more compelling and interesting? If you think of the progress of the story and how it’s going to go over a three year period, you have aliens in Crysis, where are they gonna go? Eventually this conflict is going to be taken to centers of population and conflict." Hence, New York City.
